Moor treatments have been known and used since ancient times.
Nearly 3,000 years ago, the Celts and Romans used Moor deposits in Austria and Germany to treat wounds incurred during warfare.
Probably the earliest record of their use comes from Galen and Plinius, the great medical minds from the Egyptian era, who described the use of Moors deposited by the river Nile as a major healing medium.

In the 16th Century Paracelsus, the famous alchemist, described Moor as the 'Quinta Essentia Vitae' - he believed it was the ultimate remedy or elixir of life.
